Historically, the pursuit of feminine beauty has been a major theme for artists. Italian photographer Guido Argentini, among others, is very popular in LA, Europe, and Tokyo for his highly-sophisticated expression.

The gallery Sho+1 presents a solo exhibition by Guido Argentini, titled “Whisper of Florence” from October 13th to November 11th, 2023.
Guido Argentini started his career as a fine art photographer in 1996. His recent work insists on a narrative fashion by stimulating the viewers’ imagination from various angles while he focuses on a wide range of subject matters.

This exhibition consists of his most major work, titled “Silvereye” to “Private Eyes” and “Reflection” series, and it will be a sort of retrospective show to include some of the outstanding pieces to reflect the beauty of women to a maximum extent.

Born in Florence, Italy, he studied medicine at the University of Florence. At 23 he decided to turn his passion for photography into a profession and started to shoot fashion and beauty.

Guido Argentini’s first book presented an exquisite series of studio and landscape nudes, a reflection of the artist’s great proposal passion for sculpture and dance.
This second book invited us to take a glimpse into unique ‘feminine universe’.
A vast collection of photographs of women looking at themselves in mirrors.
Guido began exploring different levels and nuances of the female nature.

2018 ”EROS”
Guido launched himself in combining landscapes or objects with women in diptych to name it as EROS.
